Wolastoq is the Wolastoqey word for “The Beautiful River,” now known as the Saint John River. Paddle through history along more than 600 km of waterway, beginning in Quebec and flowing into the Bay of Fundy. This remarkable river system features extensive wetlands and supports dozens of at-risk species. Keep your eyes on the sky—you may spot eagles soaring overhead.

Meduxnekeag, meaning “Rocky at its Mouth,” reflects a landscape shaped by time and change. While much of its original character was altered by the construction of the Mactaquac Dam in 1965, the area now offers exceptional access to peaceful wetlands. Paddlers can explore the Meduxnekeag River and even reach the remains of the old Meduxnekeag Dam, located just beneath the twin highway bridges.
